Cheryl M. Hughey is a business professional with over 35 years of Regional & Property Management experience.
The inspiration for the book came from several sources. She is a survivor of domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault. She also grieved the death of a dear friend at the hand of her abuser, and the brutal rape and murder of her daughter's nine-year-old friend.
Due to the tragedies that were taking place in her life, she stopped writing.
After meeting her husband Terry, he learned about the traumatic events that took place in her life. Instead of judging her, Terry inspired her to complete her book which he then published.
